500 MORE AFTERSHOCKS HIT THE EARTHQUAKE STRICKEN AREAS IN MINDANAO

Few minutes after the December 16, 2019 - 6.9 magnitude earthquake that crashed buildings in Padada, and Mantano, Davao Del Sur Municipalities multiple aftershocks send residents in and out of their homes. In Koronadal the neighborhood has been jittery and restless. I felt about seven (7) aftershocks and the closest interval was 3:11, 3:34, 3:50, 3:54 in the afternoon.
While I was organizing my thoughts of another topic to write, I felt another strong tremor at 3:00 in the morning. In an interview by Noli De Castro via DZMM in the early morning TV broadcas with USec. Renato Sulidum - DOST Officer In-Charge and Philippine Volcanogy and Seismology (PHILVOLCS), he said that there were more than 500 aftershocks as of press time. However, contrary to misinformation being spread in social-media network he never said about stronger earthquake than what was experienced recently.
