About 4 minutes past 9 in the morning, when I was reading some communications in our office, I felt a tremor. I thought it was caused by a huge truck passing by Jaycees Avenue, then in split seconds I felt a powerful shaking of the building where I'm in.
About 4 minutes past 9 in the morning, when I was reading some communications in our office, I felt a tremor. I thought it was caused by a huge truck passing by Jaycees Avenue, then in split seconds I felt a powerful shaking of the building where I'm in.
In no time, I rushed out of the door and saw my colleagues in the parking area covering their heads. After a while, when the shaking subsided, we calmly went out of our office compound to a safer area.

In Koronadal, the DRRM Rapid Response Team took immediate action. Though the classes and work were suspended, the local DRRMs responded to the reports through text, private messages, and calls from all over Koronadal City.

After that, there were more than 5 to 9 aftershocks which occurred in various parts of Region XII. The last must be at about 4:45 in the afternoon. However, as I was about to finish this article, another aftershock took place at 11:13.
